A simulated first month, Bronze to Legend, bad week included — every number computed by the same formula your real card uses. Play it, or scrub it day by day.

Your Life Has a Card Now

Six real-life stats — Learning, Reading, Writing, Speaking, Physical, Spiritual — rated like a footballer's card, from Bronze up to Legend.

You already know this loop. Whole evenings have gone into grinding a GTA character's stats or dragging a FIFA rating up two points — and it felt good, because watching a number climb because of something you did is genuinely satisfying. Same loop here, one difference: the character you're levelling up is you.

Ratings measure your form, not your trophies: they weigh the last 28 days, so skipping a week visibly drops the number, and showing up brings it climbing back. It's the most honest progress bar we could build.

Becoming the best version of yourself isn't a feeling — it's your form across six disciplines, earned by showing up, day by day.

Doing Your Anki Decks Has Never Been This Fun

Import an .apkg and the deck you built in Anki turns into this: subdecks become topics, notes become flashcards, and every card plays like a game. Export with scheduling and your review history comes too — a card due in three weeks stays due in three weeks.

No decks yet? Describe a topic — or generate straight from your own notes — and MugUp builds ready-to-play games in seconds. Either way, spaced repetition schedules every question for right before you'd forget it.

1

Bring or describe a topic

Drop in your Anki export, type any subject at any level, or upload your own notes and PDFs.

2

It becomes games

Quizzes, flashcards, blanks, and matching pairs, ready to play.

3

Reviews keep it stuck

Answer well and the gap grows. Slip, and it comes back sooner.

Which study technique has the strongest evidence behind it?

Four steps, one of each game type — the same mix a real session deals you.

Recall in context, with hints and alternative answers.

🃏

Flashcards

Classic two-sided cards you grade yourself, honour-system style.

Pair Match

Match terms to meanings, words to translations, causes to effects.

Get one wrong and ask “why is that the answer?” — the AI explains it on the spot. Not sure where to start? Browse ready-made decks and clone one into your account.

That's the fast way in. The deeper one — typing the lecture up, uploading the PDFs the exam is written from, telling the generator to use nothing else — has its own page.

Built for the Whole Day, Not Just the Focus Hours

MugUp is a place for getting done what you set out to do. But whether a day was productive isn't decided only in the focus hours — it's decided in the breaks between them, and in what you do with the rest of it. So we built for all three.

That is why one app carries a timer, a break that ends itself and a tile for the twenty minutes with a book: the hours around the work decide whether the work sticks.

See the timer and the breaks in detail

The focus hours

Name what the session is for, take the clock full screen over a living scene, and spend the hour answering questions rather than making flashcards.

The breaks

Say what the break is for before it starts — move, pray, journal, watch something — and if you watch, it plays from a feed you wrote, not one written for you, and the player closes itself the moment the break ends.

The rest of the day

Reading, writing, speaking, exercise and reflection each get a tile on the same streak, so the walk or the chapter counts alongside the study session — and the Life Card rates all six.

Progress You Can Hold On To

Everything you do earns XP and coins. Neither can be bought — the only way forward is showing up.

30-day streak!

A full month. Genuinely impressive.

Streaks that forgive

Banked freezes cover a missed day, and streak commitments let you put a target on the line — keep it and the payout scales.

Coins are earned, never bought

Spend them on companion packs — collectible creatures from Common to Mythic. The rarest can only be earned, never purchased.

A fresh puzzle every day

A daily Wordle and a Connections built from what you are actually studying — new every day, and one more reason to open the app tomorrow.

Friends and leaderboards

Follow friends, climb the XP leaderboard, and share your best decks for anyone to clone.

Race a friend, live

Challenge a friend to a live match: the same questions in the same order, each at your own pace, with a running win–loss record between you.

Your server plays too

MugUp runs inside Discord — twelve questions a day the whole server races, a leaderboard when the day wraps up, and 1v1 races in the channel.

Borrowed on purpose — and the parts we left behind

The streak, the levels, the rarity and the leaderboard are lifted from the apps built to take your evening. Those mechanics work — we aimed them at the thing that pays you back, and left the extractive half out:

No feed, no ads, nothing to scroll. There is no surface here designed to hold you past the fifteen minutes, and your attention is not being sold to anyone.

Nothing to buy your way past. No energy to refill, no gem packs. Coins are earned only, and the rarest companions can only be earned.

The number is allowed to go down. Ratings weigh your last 28 days, so a week off shows. Anything that keeps you here has to stay honest about how you are doing.

The break ends by itself. Name what the break is for before it starts, and if you watch something, the player closes itself the moment time is up — your place kept for next time.

The day has a ceiling. New questions arrive at a pace you set, reading and writing pay once a day however long you stay, and the Review ends when the due cards do. There is nothing here to farm.

The other half of the borrowing is from how memory works — you produce answers instead of rereading, and questions come back right before you'd forget them. The features page walks through both halves.

Make it yours — right now

Six one-tap themes, free on every plan. This page opens on Ocean — pick another and the whole site repaints, and it's still set when you sign up. Four of the six come alive: what moves behind this page right now is the real scene, and keeping it moving in the app is Pro.
